Up to 101 Slovak military personnel are set to enhance airspace protection for NATO's eastern flank, primarily in Poland and Romania, following government approval. The deployment aims to strengthen NATO's monitoring capabilities, provide early warnings, and support integrated air and missile defense. Slovak troops will assist in radar information sharing and threat identification, particularly regarding drone activities. This operation, initiated in response to airspace violations, will also test new 3D radar systems in real operations.
