Slovakia will deploy troops to protect Romania's airspace as part of NATO's Eastern Sentry mission, focusing on drone threats. Up to 101 Slovak soldiers will assist in air monitoring and defense tasks, utilizing new 3D radar systems capable of detecting objects up to 350 km away. The Slovak Defense Minister emphasized the importance of testing these radar systems in real conditions to enhance airspace security for allies.
