Singura persoană care a depășit bariera sunetului într-o mașină vrea să obțină un nou record

Andy Green, the first person to break the sound barrier in a car, returns to Utah to attempt a new speed record with a hydrogen-powered vehicle. He aims to surpass his previous record of 563.4 km/h set twenty years ago. Green's new car, resembling a long yellow pencil, is equipped with two hydrogen combustion engines. He hopes to not only break his own record but also set new records for hydrogen and electric vehicles. Last week, he reached a training speed of 592.797 km/h, but must achieve an official record in front of the FIA. Green's attempt comes a year after a fatal accident during a speed record attempt at Bonneville.
