Singura familie din țară care mai produce mătase naturală în gospodărie va deschide un muzeu al borangicului într-o localitate din Vâlcea
A silk museum will be established in Stoenești, showcasing the traditional silk production process by the Niculescu family. This family is the last in Romania to produce silk using age-old methods, from raising silkworms to weaving. The project aims to preserve this craft and educate visitors about its history and significance. The museum will feature a unique design resembling a silkworm cocoon and is expected to open this fall, supported by the aspiring UNESCO Geopark 'Oltenia de sub Munte'.
