Sindicatul Oil Terminal declanșează conflictul colectiv de muncă pe 24 august

The Oil Terminal Union Council has initiated a collective labor conflict starting August 24, 2026, due to failed negotiations over a proposed 6.5% salary increase. The government rejected the memorandum, which is below the current inflation rate. This decision follows a 50-day delay and unsuccessful efforts to resolve the issue with various authorities. Implementing the memorandum would incur an additional cost of around 4 million lei, while a five-day strike could lead to losses exceeding 6.5 million lei. The broader impact on the energy supply chain and employee morale could result in even greater economic damage. CNS Cartel ALFA supports the union's stance and urges the government to take immediate action to prevent a labor conflict with significant economic and social repercussions.
