Sindicatele din Educație resping grila de salarizare

The three major education unions in Romania have categorically rejected the proposed salary framework for teaching staff, stating it does not meet their demands. Discussions continued at the Ministry of Labor without finding a solution for the essential salary grid issue. The unions argue that the proposed coefficients for salary hierarchy do not reflect the true value and responsibility of teaching roles. They emphasize the need for a salary grid that accurately represents career progression and professional responsibility to attract and retain qualified personnel in education. Without such a grid, the current salary law will perpetuate existing issues in the education system.
