Sindicatele din Educație cer ca dosarele pentru bursele sociale să fie evaluate de autoritățile locale, nu de profesori
The FSLI and Spiru Haret Education Federation urge the Ministry of Education to transfer the evaluation of social scholarship applications from schools to local authorities. They argue that teachers should not handle financial data and social assistance evaluations, which distracts from their educational duties. The unions highlight that this responsibility is inappropriate for educators and poses legal risks regarding personal data protection. They criticize the Ministry's bureaucratic response and call for urgent legislative changes to alleviate teachers' burdens. A study funded by the Ministry previously recommended transferring these responsibilities to local administrations. The unions expect the new Minister to prioritize this issue and engage in dialogue to address other educational challenges.
