Sinagoga din Fabric, monumentul uitat al Timișoarei: A fost închisă din cauza unei presupuse ciuperci toxice, iar acum ar putea deveni centru cultural și bibliotecă

The Neolog Synagogue in Timișoara's Fabric district, currently under conservation, opened for a guided tour led by Getta Neumann. The synagogue, which has been closed since 1985 due to community emigration and alleged structural issues, is set to be transformed into a cultural center by the Timișoara City Hall. The building, designed by architect Lipot Baumhorn and inaugurated in 1899, is recognized for its eclectic architectural style. The World Monuments Fund has also selected it for preservation support. Neumann expressed optimism about the restoration plans, which include a library and performance spaces.
