During a live TVR 1 broadcast, AUR leader George Simion revealed that someone connected to businessman Fănel Bogos approached him regarding Bogos's legal issues. Simion stated he had no prior relationship with Bogos and advised the individual to report any abuses to the Commission for Abuses in the Chamber of Deputies. Bogos is under investigation by anti-corruption prosecutors for alleged influence trafficking related to an attempt to remove the head of DSVSA Vaslui, Mihai Ponea, after sanctions were imposed on Bogos's farms due to a salmonella outbreak. The meeting between Bogos and Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, facilitated by Mihai Barbu, was brief and did not result in any agreement. Reports suggest Barbu received significant benefits for arranging this meeting.
