Siemens a câștigat licitația pentru achiziția a 23 de locomotive electrice noi în România

The Romanian Railway Reform Authority has awarded Siemens Mobility a contract for 23 new electric locomotives, valued at over 764 million lei. These locomotives will operate at speeds up to 160 km/h and are designed to modernize passenger rail transport by replacing older, less efficient rolling stock. The project is funded by the Modernization Fund and the state budget, with a 42-month implementation period. The contract is pending signature after the contestation period.
