Siemens a câștigat licitația pentru 23 de locomotive electrice noi în România. Cât valorează proiectul

The Romanian Railway Reform Authority has awarded Siemens Mobility a contract for 23 new electric locomotives, valued at over 764 million lei. These locomotives will operate at speeds up to 160 km/h and can pull 16 passenger cars. The project aims to modernize passenger rail transport by replacing high-energy-consuming rolling stock with more efficient and less polluting equipment. Funding includes 638.88 million lei from the Modernization Fund and 125.52 million lei from the state budget. The implementation period is set for 42 months, with the contract pending signature after the contestation period.
