Siegfried Mureșan has once again rejected Sorin Grindeanu's request to resign as interim prime minister, insisting on proceeding to a parliamentary vote. Mureșan stated he is eager to present his vision for Romania. Grindeanu has repeatedly urged Mureșan to step down, arguing he lacks sufficient parliamentary support. Mureșan, backed by PNL, USR, and UDMR, currently has 169 votes, which is 64 short of the required 233.
