Designated Prime Minister Siegfried Mureșan confirmed he will continue the reform direction set by his predecessor, Ilie Bolojan, despite requests from the Social Democratic Party (PSD) for clarity on his government’s agenda. Mureșan emphasized his commitment to maintaining progress and addressing long-standing issues in Romania. The PSD has repeatedly questioned whether he intends to alter Bolojan's policies or continue them. Mureșan was appointed by President Dan and has support from several parties, but needs additional votes to secure parliamentary approval for his government.
