Siegfried Mureșan: Neparticiparea PSD la votul de învestitură ar fi „un act ostil”

Designated Prime Minister Siegfried Mureșan expressed that the absence of PSD parliamentarians during the government investiture vote would be seen as a hostile act towards Parliament and the President of Romania. He emphasized the expectation for PSD members to participate in the voting process, highlighting that boycotting would show disrespect towards the institution. Mureșan stated that any non-participation would challenge the Constitution and the nomination procedure. His comments followed the submission of the government program and cabinet list to Parliament, amid PSD's announcement of non-support for his government, making the investiture dependent on other parliamentary votes.
