Designated Prime Minister Siegfried Mureșan stated he has not arranged a meeting with PSD leader Sorin Grindeanu but remains open to discussions. Mureșan prefers to meet in Parliament and rejected Grindeanu's request to resign from the European Parliament before the investiture vote. He emphasized the importance of equality in their relationship and highlighted the need for a strong parliamentary dialogue. Mureșan also criticized PSD for collaborating with AUR, suggesting it undermines their credibility in Europe. He framed the upcoming investiture vote as a test for PSD's pro-European stance, urging them to choose wisely. Mureșan confirmed he currently has 170 votes from PNL, USR, and UDMR, aiming for a total of 233 votes to form the government.
