Designated Prime Minister Siegfried Mureșan has firmly rejected the idea of taking over the leadership of the National Liberal Party from Ilie Bolojan, emphasizing his focus on government duties. He expressed his commitment to collaborating with Bolojan and praised his contributions to Romania. Mureșan stated he is not interested in other positions and dismissed any potential tensions within the PNL, asserting he would refuse any initiatives against the current leadership. He was appointed by President Nicușor Dan to form a government after consultations with parliamentary parties.
