The European Commission has transferred an additional 157 million euros to Moldova as part of a 1.9 billion euro growth plan. This funding, totaling 661 million euros so far, follows positive evaluations of Moldova's reform progress. The announcement was made during the 10th EU-Moldova Association Council, highlighting the completion of 18 reforms across various sectors. The plan aims to strengthen Moldova's economy and improve living standards, while also benefiting Romania and its citizens. The Commission emphasizes its ongoing support for Moldova's growth plan, which is designed to facilitate economic growth and job creation, bringing Moldova closer to EU membership.
