Shakira a vizitat o regiune afectată de cutremurul din Columbia și a promis sprijin financiar pentru reconstruirea școlilor
Colombian singer Shakira has pledged financial support for rebuilding schools affected by a devastating earthquake in Colombia. She visited Chocó a week after the 7.4 magnitude quake that killed nearly 300 people. Accompanied by philanthropist Howard Buffett, Shakira emphasized her foundation's long-term commitment to education in the region. Over 2,800 schools were damaged, particularly in Chocó, home to many Afro-Colombian and indigenous communities. Shakira expressed concern that many schools might not be rebuilt after the emergency ends. She announced a commitment of one million dollars for reconstruction efforts, including repairing damaged schools and building new ones.
