Sfinții Adrian și Natalia, sărbătoare pe 26 august. Cine au fost și ce nume sunt sărbătorite
On August 26, the Orthodox Church commemorates Saints Adrian and Natalia, a married couple from Nicomedia who exemplified faith and devotion during Christian persecutions. Adrian, initially a pagan, converted after witnessing the courage of persecuted Christians. Natalia, already a Christian, supported him through his trials. Both were imprisoned, and Adrian faced severe torture before dying a martyr's death. Natalia remained loyal to him until her own death, and they are celebrated together each year. Nearly 498,000 Romanians bear names associated with them, including Adrian and Natalia.
