Sfârșit tragic pentru un turist polonez în Făgăraș. A căzut aproape 200 de metri în gol
A tragic incident occurred in the Făgăraș Mountains where a 54-year-old Polish tourist fell approximately 200 meters, resulting in his death. Due to adverse weather conditions, helicopter rescue was not possible, leading rescuers to undertake a challenging ground operation. The alarm was raised by fellow tourists around 4:10 PM when they lost contact with the man. A team of 22 rescuers was dispatched, but they confirmed the tourist's death later that evening. Recovery efforts were hampered by strong winds and fog, forcing a temporary halt until the next morning. The remaining 18 tourists were safely guided to a nearby cabin, with warnings issued about rapidly changing weather conditions in mountainous areas.
