Sfânta Parascheva, sărbătorită pe 14 octombrie. Cum au ajuns moaștele ei la Mitropolia din Iași

The relics of Saint Parascheva have been housed in the Metropolitan Cathedral of Iași since 1641, brought by Prince Vasile Lupu. She is a significant spiritual protector of Moldova, with thousands of pilgrims visiting her relics annually on October 14. Born in the 11th century in Epivat, she dedicated her life to prayer and charity, eventually moving to Constantinople and later to Jerusalem. Her remains were discovered posthumously, and she is revered for her miracles. There are three saints named Parascheva in Eastern Orthodox tradition, with the one in Iași being the most recognized.
