This follows a lawsuit won by the High Court against the Government for retroactive salary increases. Interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan argues that the judiciary overstepped its authority by mandating budget allocations for the justice sector, disrupting national budget balance. The High Court's ruling requires the Government to pay 4.8 billion lei in back salaries, with penalties for delays in execution.
