The Romanian Parliament will hold an extraordinary session from July 27-31 to adopt laws related to PNRR milestones and address issues from a cyberattack on the National Cadastre Agency. Key discussions will include extending the reduced VAT rate for home buyers affected by the attack. President of the Senate, Mircea Abrudean, emphasized the need for political will and responsibility to ensure Romania does not lose European funds. The PSD party has proposed amendments regarding VAT deadlines and has set conditions for supporting salary legislation and urban planning laws. The session will also cover necessary reforms to avoid losing significant PNRR funds.
