Asociația CLOSER will host a plogging event in Nehoiu on September 20, combining running with litter collection to promote environmental protection. This initiative precedes the Buzău 21K Half Marathon, aiming to raise awareness about ecological responsibility. The event highlights the importance of community involvement in maintaining the area's natural beauty, which is often marred by litter. Plogging, a Swedish concept, encourages outdoor activity while cleaning up the environment. Approximately 2,000 runners are expected at the half marathon on September 27, supporting various charitable causes.
