A significant information session about the national intervention and alert system for children, 119, took place in Alba Iulia. The system, operational since 2022, is being enhanced with European funds, including a new website and a Chatbot application for real-time assistance. The 119 hotline remains available for reporting child abuse and crises, offering confidential support from trained professionals 24/7. A mobile app for field specialists will also be introduced to improve communication and case management. The initiative aims to raise awareness and encourage support for the system, which has already helped many children in critical situations.
