Serviciu militar obligatoriu pentru femei și bărbați în Danemarca. Noua strategie de apărare

A NATO member country has reinstated mandatory military service for all young people, including women, to enhance defense capabilities amid rising security threats in Europe. Denmark's new recruitment system, effective from 2024, requires an 11-month service period. Approximately 1,600 volunteers have been assigned to military centers, with the aim of creating a more responsive military force. The Danish government plans to increase the number of recruits annually and has noted that 20% of current recruits are women. This reform is accelerated due to the instability caused by the war in Ukraine.
