The turnover in market services provided to the population decreased by 9.1% in the first half of the year compared to the same period in 2025, mainly due to declines in gambling, hairdressing, and hospitality sectors. The most significant drop was in gambling activities, with a 16% decrease. Hairdressing services fell by 13.9%, while hotels and restaurants saw a 12% decline. Conversely, travel agencies experienced a 17.4% increase. In June 2026, turnover rose by 4.3% from May, driven by hotels and restaurants, despite some sectors continuing to decline.
