Serbia îl arestează pe proprietarul unei bănci , acuzat că a golit seiful băncii după înfrângerea în alegeri a lui Aleksandar Vučić
Serbian authorities arrested the owner of Alta Bank, Davor Macura, for allegedly embezzling over 380 million euros following the electoral defeat of Aleksandar Vučić. The National Bank of Serbia revoked the bank's operating license due to financial difficulties and significant withdrawals by clients, many of whom were Russian citizens. Macura and two bank officials are suspected of unauthorized access to the bank's vault. Alta Bank has faced scrutiny over potential money laundering, particularly after a surge in Russian clients post-Ukraine invasion. Macura denied any wrongdoing, claiming the bank was targeted by hostile campaigns from competitors.
