Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic announced plans for a fast road instead of a highway between Timișoara and Moravița, with ongoing discussions for years. The Serbian side has requested Romania to finance the border point, while construction for the Romanian section is progressing. Vucic emphasized that the fast road will be developed after the completion of the Belgrade-Zrenjanin highway.
