A new reading club for seniors in Sibiu has been established, featuring over 800 books and cultural discussions. This initiative aims to enhance mental health and social interaction among the elderly. The club, inaugurated at the Cathedral Social Center, was made possible through donations and community support. It offers a diverse collection of literature, including universal and Romanian works, and encourages seniors to engage in reading and cultural activities. Psychotherapist Adrian Bratu emphasized the mental health benefits of reading during the opening event. The center aims to foster active participation and interpersonal relationships among seniors through this new initiative.
