Seniors in Bucharest participated in a digital education workshop as part of the Hi Digital program by Vodafone Foundation, enhancing their tech skills. The workshop focused on smartphone usage, communication apps, and online safety, allowing seniors to practice and ask questions. The initiative aims to boost confidence and autonomy in technology use among those over 65, with 94% reporting increased smartphone confidence post-training. Nearly 11,000 seniors have benefited from the program, which has expanded to 76 locations in Romania. The need for digital education investment remains critical, as only 28% of Romanians possess basic digital skills.
