Senatul SUA a aprobat un amplu pachet de sancțiuni împotriva Rusiei și Iranului. Măsurile îl vizează inclusiv pe Putin
The U.S. Senate has passed a new sanctions package targeting Russia and Iran, aimed at supporting Ukraine and increasing pressure on the Kremlin. The bipartisan initiative, led by Senator Lindsey Graham, received 86 votes in favor and 11 against. It now requires approval from the House of Representatives and the signature of President Donald Trump. The sanctions focus on Russia's energy sector and include measures against high-ranking officials, including Vladimir Putin. Additionally, sanctions against Iran have been extended for five years. Supporters believe these measures will strengthen support for Ukraine and heighten economic pressure on Russia, although implementation may be delayed due to the House's recess.
