Seven individuals were detained for 24 hours and three others placed under judicial control in a case involving the falsification of electoral documents during the presidential elections in Giurgiu. Police executed ten warrants in Giurgiu, Ilfov, and Teleorman, targeting individuals linked to the case. Investigators allege that members of the same electoral office falsely certified voter attendance, forged signatures, and entered incorrect data into the voting monitoring system. The detained individuals, aged 35 to 58, will be presented to the prosecutor's office with procedural proposals. The investigation focuses on document falsification and electoral record tampering.
