A recent exercise by the Sibiu County Council revealed that vulnerable children can still be overlooked by the system despite being in contact with key institutions. Daniela Cîmpean emphasized the importance of effective communication and collaboration among parents, schools, medical professionals, and police to ensure timely support for at-risk children. The event, held in partnership with the ROMACT Romania program, aimed to improve social inclusion for vulnerable communities, particularly the Roma. Participants discussed strategies to prevent neglect and abuse, highlighting the need for clear intervention procedures. Cîmpean called for ongoing dialogue and exercises to enhance child protection in Sibiu.
