Police in Alba Iulia have launched an awareness campaign to warn travelers, especially young people, about the dangers of taking selfies on trains. Climbing onto train cars poses a risk of electrocution due to high-voltage electricity, even without direct contact. The initiative, part of the national campaign "Selfie on the train doesn’t get likes, it takes lives," aims to prevent accidents and educate the public on safety rules. Key recommendations include never climbing on train cars or near high-voltage lines, waiting for trains on the platform, and avoiding pushing or crowding. Travelers are also advised not to cross railway lines when trains are approaching.
