Șeful UPU-SMURD Bihor a fost prins băut la volan, dar a scăpat doar cu avertisment. Cum au motivat judecătorii decizia
Dr. Hadrian Borcea, head of UPU-SMURD Bihor, received a warning after being caught driving under the influence. The Oradea Court of Appeal dismissed prosecutors' request for a suspended prison sentence, citing a low risk of accident. Borcea was stopped by police in October 2025, with a blood alcohol level significantly above the legal limit. He admitted to drinking three beers the night before and requested a simplified trial, resulting in no punishment but a warning. The court noted the incident's low severity and Borcea's long career in medicine. Prosecutors appealed, arguing the warning was too lenient, but the appeal was rejected, allowing Borcea to retain his position without a criminal record.
