Șeful Transgaz, vizită la terminalul flotant de gaze naturale lichefiate din Grecia. Ion Sterian: „Alexandroupolis are o importanță strategică pentru România”

Ion Sterian, CEO of Transgaz, visited the floating LNG terminal in Alexandroupolis, Greece, a key point for gas supply to Romania and Europe. The terminal, operational since October 2024, has a regasification capacity of 5.5 billion cubic meters. Romania, along with several neighboring countries, will benefit from this project. The visit was part of the Vertical Corridor initiative, aimed at enhancing energy connectivity in the region. A new Memorandum of Understanding was signed to include additional operators, strengthening regional cooperation in gas transport.
