The Tuzla-Podișor gas pipeline, a strategic investment by Transgaz, is ready to transport natural gas from Neptun Deep. This 308.3 km pipeline, costing around 500 million euros, is crucial for Romania's energy security and economic development. It was completed in June 2025 and is set to begin operations in October 2025. The first gas quantities from Neptun Deep are expected to enter the system early next year. The Neptun Deep project, a joint investment by OMV and Romgaz, is estimated to produce about 8 billion cubic meters of gas annually, with a total investment of approximately 4 billion euros. Transgaz's leadership recently visited key facilities related to this project, ensuring readiness for gas transport.
