Şeful Stellantis cere stimulente mai puternice pentru producătorii auto care construiesc în Europa, în contextul intensificării concurenţei din China

Antonio Filosa, CEO of Stellantis, urged European regulators to provide stronger incentives for local car manufacturers amid rising competition from Chinese automakers. He emphasized the need for fair regulations, particularly regarding the 'Made in Europe' initiative, which aims to support local production. Stellantis has seen a significant drop in sales, with its stock falling nearly 60% this year. Chinese brands are rapidly increasing their market share in Europe, rising from nearly zero in 2020 to 12% by August 2026. Filosa acknowledged the advanced technology and competitive pricing offered by Chinese manufacturers. Meanwhile, China has agreed to moderate its hybrid vehicle exports to the EU, potentially limiting the influx of Chinese cars in the coming years.
