Șeful SPP, Lucian Pahonțu, a chemat în judecată Ministerul Educației. Emilia Șercan: „Urmărește să blocheze un prezumtiv verdict de plagiat”

Lucian Pahonțu, head of the SPP, has filed a lawsuit against the Ministry of Education regarding his doctoral thesis, which is under scrutiny for plagiarism. This legal action coincides with an investigation by the National Defense University into allegations that a significant portion of his thesis is plagiarized, including material from a 1976 Security document. Pahonțu's lawsuit aims to confirm the legitimacy of his doctoral title, potentially preempting a negative finding from the university's ethics committee. Journalist Emilia Șercan suggests that this move may be an attempt to block a possible plagiarism verdict. A similar case involving Gabriel Vlase, head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, has set a precedent for such legal actions.
