The head of the Ilfov Driving License Service and a coordinator were detained by DNA for forming a criminal group and taking bribes. Mihai Niță and Cosmin Dobre allegedly created a network involving employees and driving instructors to facilitate obtaining driving licenses for money. They face charges of organized crime and bribery, with Niță accused of receiving bribes between 100 lei and 600 euros. The group reportedly had a structured hierarchy, with roles for examiners, instructors, and clerks to expedite processes in exchange for payments. Other police officers and driving instructors are also under investigation for similar offenses. The two will be presented for preventive arrest.
