Șeful serviciului german de informații avertizează: „Germania este în pericol să ajungă într-un conflict violent cu Rusia”
Germany faces a heightened risk of violent confrontation with Russia, according to BND President Martin Jäger. He emphasized that Russia poses the most direct threat to Germany's security, with no other nation presenting a comparable danger. Jäger described the current situation as a new and more dangerous phase, highlighting attempts by Russia to influence political decisions in Germany and Europe. He characterized the conflict as a shadow war, which does not fit traditional definitions of warfare. Jäger warned of potential intimidation and nuclear threats, while noting that there are no immediate signs of a large-scale military offensive against NATO. However, he cautioned about the possibility of low-intensity military activities in the Baltic region.
