Șeful Ryanair, mesaj dur la adresa Ursulei von der Leyen: „Este inutilă. Se ascunde în Berlaymont, de unde ține doar discursuri”
Michael O’Leary, CEO of Ryanair, criticized EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen for her inaction on aviation taxes during a press conference in Brussels. Ryanair announced the cancellation of one million flight seats and the removal of 20 routes from Belgium due to increased aviation taxes starting in 2027. O’Leary claimed that ticket prices will rise significantly across Europe because of environmental taxes and rising fuel costs. He accused von der Leyen of being ineffective and failing to implement key recommendations from a report by former Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi. O’Leary also pointed out the disparity in taxation between European airlines and major US and Chinese companies landing in Europe.
