Șeful Revolut, Nik Storonsky, dat în judecată pentru un superyacht de 350 de milioane de euro

Nik Storonsky, CEO of Revolut, is being sued by yacht brokerage Cecil Wright & Partners for €17.5 million over a yacht purchase. The brokerage claims he bypassed them to avoid paying a commission on a €350 million superyacht. Court documents reveal that Storonsky's advisor initially contacted the brokerage for yacht construction assistance and later inquired about available yachts. Cecil Wright alleges they suggested the 102-meter yacht, which was under construction by Lürssen. However, Storonsky ultimately purchased it directly from Canadian businessman Patrick Dovigi. The brokerage asserts they are entitled to a 5% commission based on their intermediary contract. The yacht's ownership history is complicated, involving a previous sale to an anonymous Brazilian owner arrested for fraud. Chris Cecil-Wright expressed confidence in the case, noting the rarity of such situations for brokers.
