Şeful Poliţiei Locale Constanţa, trimis în judecată pentru abuz în serviciu

Ionuț Dumitru, the general director of the Local Police Directorate in Constanța, has been indicted for abuse of office by prosecutors. He allegedly ordered the administrative removal of 60 contravention reports, totaling over 100,000 lei in fines, from the civil circuit. This action prevented the collection of fines by local authorities, causing financial harm to 19 administrative units. The case has been sent to the Constanța Tribunal for trial, with a request to maintain the precautionary measures in place.
