Several employees from the Ilfov Driving License Service, including the director, were involved in a scheme to fraudulently facilitate driving exams for bribes ranging from 100 to 600 euros. DNA prosecutors detained Mihai Niță, the head of the service, for forming a criminal group and accepting bribes. Another inspector was also detained, while a third was placed under judicial control. The group allegedly organized the exam process to ensure candidates passed by manipulating exam conditions. Investigations are ongoing into other police agents and driving instructors involved in similar corrupt practices.
