Șeful MI5 numește Rusia „agresorul numărul unu”. Serviciul britanic avertizează și asupra dronelor controlate cu AI

The UK’s MI5 is allocating more resources to counter state threats than during the Cold War, focusing on Russia and Iran. Director Ken McCallum highlighted a fourfold increase in state actor threats and warned of terrorist use of artificial intelligence for attacks. He labeled Russia as the primary aggressor, engaging in hybrid warfare while attempting to destabilize European nations. The expulsion of Russian agents has hindered Moscow's traditional operations, leading to reliance on intermediaries. Iran's activities have also intensified, with arrests linked to threats against Jewish communities. McCallum expressed concern over the potential use of AI by extremists for biological weapons development and noted a rise in far-right terrorism fueled by online radicalization.
