Șeful Gărzii de Mediu a reacționat după controalele anunțate de Diana Buzoianu

Andrei Corlan, the General Commissioner of the National Environmental Guard, responded to the Ministry of Environment's decision to send a control team to five regional offices. He emphasized the transparency of GNM and expressed uncertainty about the criteria used for selecting these offices. Corlan stated that evaluations should occur after the control is completed and highlighted the institution's strong performance indicators. He noted that GNM achieved historic results and fully utilized PNRR funds. Corlan also mentioned the importance of risk analysis in inspections and the need for national public policies to address systemic environmental issues. He committed to sharing the findings of the control team once completed.
