Şeful forţelor navale germane: Rusia este tot mai agresivă pe mare

Russia is increasingly aggressive at sea, particularly in the Baltic Sea, using intimidation tactics and a so-called 'phantom fleet', according to German naval commander Vice Admiral Jan Christian Kaack. He noted that Russia is now protecting these vessels with military means, which adds pressure on their naval resources. The 'phantom fleet' consists mainly of tankers and cargo ships used to circumvent international sanctions. Germany and its allies have improved their maritime intelligence, significantly reducing the time needed to identify suspicious activities. Kaack also highlighted the importance of naval forces in protecting international trade and announced changes to German naval plans in the Mediterranean.
