Șeful CNAS dezvăluie „un mecanism” de consultații fictive: „Au uitat să întrebe dacă pacienții mai sunt în viață. Așa i-am descoperit”
The head of CNAS, Horațiu Moldovan, revealed fraudulent practices in healthcare involving fictitious consultations for vulnerable patients. These patients were repeatedly reported as having consultations that never occurred, leading to improper financial gains for hospitals. Moldovan noted that the fraud was uncovered when it was discovered that some patients were not alive, highlighting a significant oversight in the reporting process. He emphasized the importance of addressing these issues discreetly to avoid giving ideas to potential fraudsters.
